Invasive Procedures

Chorionic Villus Sampling
Chorionic sampling – is an invasive procedure performed to biopsy placental tissue between 11 – 16 weeks

Amniocentesis
Amniocentesis – prenatal diagnostic test which is done by obtaining small amount of amniotic fluid performed after 16 weeks

Amniodrainage
Amnio drainage – performed by aspirating amniotic fluid in various cases of polyhydramnios
